The starting point! The Notice can be lodged (either original or faxed) with your celebrant up to 18 months and NO LESS than one calendar month prior to your wedding date. If you are currently married or underage the form can be lodged now provided your certificate of divorce is available or you turn 18 years (as applicable) prior to the date of the wedding. |

Application for registered copy of marriage certificate (Vic bdm) If you wish to change your name after marriage you will require a registered copy of your marriage certificate from Births, Deaths and Marriages to change at least your passport, driver’s licence and bank accounts. |
